We're nothing if not deluded

News hot off the press today reveals that the version of Hugh Jackman's Broadway success story The Boy From Oz was changed for Australian audiences. No, they didn't give the characters more authentic accents than the New York run, but rather removed a gay kissing scene.

It seems we're very proud about Peter Allen, his life and success...until it comes time to acknowledge that he was, in fact, gay and that gay people kiss too.

That is fucking outrageous, just like the late great Allen himself.
I cant believe they would do that. It is one of the big reasons I would pay to money to see the show, Hugh snoggin another bloke...grr woof!

They should just get over it... if they can show hets, they can show gays. Perhaps one day society will grow up...
